Royal Marines 350th Anniversary Commemorative Medal – 1664–2014

Celebrate 350 years of Royal Marines history with this distinctive commemorative medal. It marks the 350th Anniversary of the Royal Marines, covering the remarkable period from 1664 to 2014.

The Royal Marines trace their origins to the Duke of York and Albany’s Maritime Regiment of Foot, which formed in 1664. Since then, the Corps has evolved considerably. Today, the Royal Marines Commandos continue a proud tradition of military service around the world.

Medal Design

The front of the medal features the Coat of Arms of the Duke of York and Albany. Therefore, the design provides a direct link to the historic origins of the Royal Marines.

In addition, the medal features a distinctive ribbon in traditional Royal Marines Corps colours. Together, the medal and ribbon create an impressive tribute to more than three centuries of Royal Marines history.

The manufacturer produces each medal to British campaign medal standards. As a result, it offers an excellent finish and a traditional military appearance.

This commemorative medal makes an ideal choice for serving and former Royal Marines. Furthermore, it makes an excellent addition to a military medal collection or a meaningful gift for someone with a connection to the Corps.

Presentation

The medal comes in a black presentation box with a clear lid. A black sponge insert holds and displays the medal securely.

This should score noticeably better in Yoast Readability because I’ve shortened the sentences, added transition words such as “Since then,” “In addition,” “As a result,” “Therefore,” and “Furthermore,” and changed most of the passive sentences into active ones.
